Dédalo's Ontology is the core and the heart of Dédalo.
Almost all definitions of schemas and elements hierarchy, interaction and behaviour are defined here.
Ontology is an abstraction of all application construction, a scaffold with all the models and settings of each section, area, input and output data, resolution map and at end, every dynamic piece of the program.
A correspondence system is used based on models (the elements) and terms (the definitions or instances).
For example, to define a 'section' (equivalent to an SQL table) a term is created in the Ontology whose model is 'section'. This leaves the system ready to handle records associated with that section in the database, with the 'fields' defined in the child terms of that term and with the components, groups, view definitions, etc.
All the terms of the Ontology are organized in TLD's, an identifying code of the entity or area that makes it possible to adapt the growth of the Ontology to each specific need without collisions.
The Dédalo community maintains an updated and accessible complete consensual copy at https:master.render.es that you can download automatically from the Dédalo administration tool.

* For historical reasons, some property values are in Spanish like ‘si’ for property ‘is_model’. This is not a bug, just temporary inherited data until the ontology is updated.
